The Welcome Experience is a free service supporting essential workers (and their families) who are considering applying or have accepted a job in the Coffs Harbour LGA or Bellingen Shire. Boambee East Community Centre Inc. (BECC) is providing The Welcome Experience on behalf of the NSW Government for the area. As an integral part of our local community for more than 20 years, we are ideally placed to help you and any family members you are moving with connect to community when you arrive in our beautiful part of the world.
Local Connectors can help you with the life stuff, everything from the practicalities of finding housing, choosing childcare, exploring job opportunities for partners or even introducing you to your neighbours! We host regular social events for essential workers and their families to meet with other newcomers and locals.
Government and non-government employees in the following industries are eligible for The Welcome Experience:

- Corrections and Justice
