Astronomical Society

 The Coffs Harbour Astronomical Society was formed to provide afocus of interest in the subject of astronomy in Coffs Harbour and the surrounding area. 

Meetings are held First Monday of every month (excluding January) @ 7pm

There is usually a discussion of recent events of interest in the astronomical world, then a short talk. If the sky is clear after main meeting there will be the chance to observe the sky with member’s telescopes or binoculars. 

Membership of the society is open to all individuals of all ages. A fee of $16.00 is payable by all the members, with those under 17 paying g $8.00. For those applying to join part way through  the year (which begins in July), a partial fee is payable (reducing pro rata per quarter). $3.00 is also payable for attendance at meetings. Your first meeting is FREE.
